While the decision to bank sperm can be an awkward one, our caring staff ensures a discreet and helpful experience, and is available to answer questions at any time.
Banking sperm at NECC is a simple process. Collection: After consultation with our professional staff, clients may elect to collect sperm at our facility or at home. We recommend collecting at least 18 vials of sperm, which is sufficient for a six-month fertility treatment. Storage: Specimens are stored in liquid nitrogen and held in our state-of-the-art laboratory. Client sperm is stored in separate tanks from donor sperm samples. Our facilities are highly secure and are monitored around the clock. Withdrawal: When the specimens are needed for insemination, clients place a call to NECC. Specimens can be shipped the next day to any corner of the globe – our special liquid nitrogen vapor shippers are guaranteed by the manufacturer to protect specimens for 7 days.
