Powerful generator for uninterrupted operations in case of power outage
Multiple monitoring systems for cryostorage tanks
Storage Facility
Our cryogenic storage facility is specially designed to ensure maximum security and protection.
Our storage containers maintain internal temperatures within 1 degree for up to 30 days in case of a power failure and are further protected by an on-site electric generator system.
The facility includes an on-site bulk liquid nitrogen storage tank.
We maintain multiple levels of security, including backup alarm systems, 24-hour on-call staff, continuous temperature monitoring, and a gravity-driven liquid nitrogen system that operates independently of electricity.
Stem cells are stored individually in sealed cryo-containers, specifically designed for long-term cryogenic storage. Each container is coded and placed in a jacketed vapor tank cooled by liquid nitrogen, preventing all cross-contamination.
Storing your dental stem cells with NDPL guarantees they will be safe and available whenever you may need them.
The Future of Stem Cells
Mesenchymal stem cells are at the forefront of one of the most fascinating and revolutionary areas of biology and medicine today– and the science is progressing rapidly. Mesenchymal cells, with their potential of allowing researchers to grow and rejuvenate specific cells or tissues, may ultimately be used to treat a wide range of major diseases and conditions such as:
Dental stem cell research has shown that DPSCs are a promising source of cells for numerous and varied regenerative medicine applications. Their natural function is in the production of odontoblasts to create reparative dentin support applications in dentistry in the regeneration of tooth structures. However, they are also being investigated for the repair of tissues outside of the tooth.
Clinical trials and research are currently focused on bio-engineered teeth, corneal repair, Type 1 Diabetes, Crohn’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Spinal cord injury, dental pulp regeneration in injured teeth, graft-versus-host disease, tissue engineering, wound healing, and bone and dental regeneration.
The Future of Stem Cells
The future of stem cells is extremely promising. With the advent of regenerative medicine has come a revolution in medical therapy, and at the forefront of this new direction are stem cells. From neuro-degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, to dentistry and sports medicine, there are few areas where stem cells are not poised to play a game changing role. This is because the Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) found in dental pulp can differentiate into a variety of cell types including tissue, bone, cartilage, muscle, and nerves.
Although Mesencyhmal stem cells are not currently approved for use by the FDA, they are being evaluated in dozens of clinical studies throughout the world. These studies are investigating future treatments for cancer, diabetes, spinal cord injuries, heart disease, strokes, and many other conditions. Scientists are very optimistic that new cutting edge therapies will result from this research. Benefits of banking dental stem cells, while prevalent now, will be overwhelmingly prominent in the future with more treatments and trials coming every day.
